What should i do...?

Hey friends,

I appeared for CAT in 2006 and scored 98.62 %ile.

Got calls from IIM-I,K, SP Jain, NITIE and NIRMA.


The present status is as follows :-

IIM-I [http://www.iimidr.ac.in/iimi/] (for main PGP program) ::: have been wait listed and the results will be out on May 15th.

IIM-K [http://iimk.ac.in/] (for main PGP program) ::: got confirmation for admission. have to pay a sum of Rs. 65,000 as 1st term fee before May 14th.

SP Jain, Mumbai [http://spjimr.org/] ::: have been wait listed but most probably will be clearing the list and will get a confirmation. Have got call for the PGDSM-MIT program which is a dual degree program in collaboration with Virginia Tech (VT), USA. Its not the No. 1 program offered by the institute.

NITIE, Mumbai [http://nitie.edu/] ::: got confirmation for admission to the PGDITM program. NITIE is famous for PGDIM program which has 180 seats. PGDITM stands for Post Graduate Diploma in Information & Technology Management. This program has only 18-20 seats and the intake will be of around 15 students (including SC/ST/OBC).

NIRMA, Ahmedabad [http://www.nim.ac.in/www/index.asp] ::: got confirmation for the main MBA program but didnt opt for it. Have already rejected it.



The problem with the IT programs is that they tend to narrow down my field of learning. I wouldnt be getting an option of field of specialisation.

Please help me out in decission making.
